Update 10/06 : The Alameda Theatre's marquee displayed "Mexican Movies of the US" so apparently there is some life at the old cinema. Unfortunately, nothing appeared to be going on at night so the neon was not lit. 10-06

Check out the Aztec Theatre, found just near the Riverwalk in San Antonio. The blade neon as well as the neon over the front door was in great shape and blazing both day and night. There some sort of free show being offered there in the daytime. From the looks of the front lobby, any restoration going on at the Aztec is going well. 10-06
