Located in Pottstown, PA this cup-shaped building was built back in the
40's by a local dairy to sell milk, etc. Since the 60's, The Cup has been a landmark local diner, and home of the Texas Tommy hot dog. Many thanks to Vicki Dransoff for info.
The cup dates back to the early 1940s when Levengood Dairies built several of these unusual dairy stands around the area. This one later grew into a neighborhood diner known for its Texas Tommy hot dogs.
UPDATE: The Cup is gone, but the giant cup building still stands and is being converted into Three Brothers Grill and Pizza. The original straw has been removed. 08-26
