Cruising through the downtown commercial core of Douglas brings you past the long-running storefront of Devore Auto Supply along G Avenue. Established in 1936 just north of the border crossing, this independent shop has served generations of Cochise County drivers, making it one of the oldest continuously operating auto parts establishments in the state of Arizona. 07-22

The building features a classic commercial vernacular design with deep-set street-front display windows and a prominent parapet engineered to catch the attention of slow-moving downtown traffic. Over the years, the building's exterior presentation has evolved alongside the business. While field visits in 2002 captured the iconic blue block lettering across the facade, the building later adopted a vibrant red and yellow scheme to reflect its ongoing role in modern automotive supply networks.
