Featuring the Castle Cinema, Castle Motel, and famous Castle Restaurant, what more could aspiring princes and princesses look for?

And the castle theme didn't stop at the front door. Inside were suits of armor, swords, tapestries, and even a throne. The restaurant eventually grew to nine dining rooms with seating for more than 600 hungry travelers, and its Friday night smorgasbord became a local favorite.

There was more to this kingdom than dinner. The sprawling complex also included the Castle Motel and Castle Cinema, which opened in 1971. Between the motel, restaurant, and movie theater, aspiring princes and princesses could pretty much spend the whole weekend here.

The Castle Restaurant closed in December 1997 and sat vacant for several years.

UPDATE: According to the November 28, 2005 edition of the Olean Times Herald, the demolition crew began tearing down the Castle Restaurant for a mixed-use project, including retail shops and restaurant, office space, and residential units. According to the newspaper's source, the Castle began life as gas station. 12-05

UPDATE: The Castle Motel was demolished beginning in September 2005, followed by the Castle Restaurant that November. The old castle complex is now gone. 08-26
