The Evangeline Theatre in New Liberia, LA is still open for business and features a very distinct marquee on its front deco facade. It also appears that the sign lights up at night.

The marquee is original as is most of the facade of the building. This theatre was completely refurbished. Many thanks to KingRob for photos and info.

Here's a nice shot of an old vintage theatre, the Pitman Theatre in Gadsden, AL. This is right across the street from a good looking roadside cafe.

To the left is a close-up of the Pitman blade sign. Looks like much of the sign itself is working neon.

Charlotte, NC is also home to the Park Terrace Theater. The marquee and building look well-preserved. Check out the starburst on top of the marquee.

Check out the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis, TN. This movie palace befits its famous name.

This art deco theater still appears to be in great shape. Check out the Rialto Theatre in Brinkley, AR, a flashback to the era when a classic theatre was a central point of main street.
