Check out the original sign for the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino, located off the strip. Treasure Island opened in 1993 back when Vegas was attempting to lure additional visitors by appealing to families. Out in front was a free pirate show which complemented the volcano show outside the nearby Mirage Hotel.

Not too long after opening, Steve Wynn began transforming the resort to appeal to more lucrative visitors and stopped the pirate show and other family themed elements. 11/10
