The Mission 4 Drive-in Theatre located on the South Side of San Antonio, TX has been an area landmark since 1948. Since its opening as a single-screener, the Mission expanded to four screens in the late 1970's and has shown first-run movies for almost 50 years.

The Mission, which was the last of the open-air theatres in San Antonio, closed down in 2007. On the morning of May 19, 2009, two of its movie screens and its ticket booth was demolished.

A mixed-use park, including a new city library, is planned to take its place at the site. According to the San Antonio Express-News, the theatre's marquee will be restored and the main screen will be kept.
