This rather skinny muffler art guy stands alongside the road in front of Adrift Adventures.

What is attention catching here is just how skinny this fellow is. Unlike the giant fiberglass Muffler Men found around the country, this one appears to have been pieced together from old mufflers and scrap metal. He may not be very tall, but he still does a good job of getting your attention as you drive by.

I've always enjoyed finding unusual roadside creations like this. Somebody took the time to turn a pile of discarded metal into a piece of roadside folk art, and that's the kind of thing that makes road trips interesting. 10-06
