Attached are some pictures of the massive Budweiser Brewery in St Louis from the Spring of 2006. These were taken from the plant tour. Unfortunately, the bottling operation was not running since it was a weekend day.

The interiors of this place were more elegant than a hotel! You can see the Clydesdales are kept in a rather elegant stable.

The detail is really something special. The small single building was a distribution center. There are old photographs of this from about 100 years ago with a train on one side and a trolley on the other. The design elements of this small building are similar to Budweiser buildings I have seen in Detroit, Grand Rapids and Peoria. I have no idea how those functioned or how many there were but since I took my photograph of it the eagle over the Detroit building is now missing, probably stolen. The Budweiser complex is about a mile from the former Lemp Brewery. 02-07
