Check out this ballroom that appears that its heyday is long behind it. The Santa Rita Ballroom is located in Tucson, AZ. From the looks of things, it appears that this building was built sometime during the war years. 02-07


Hayden Flour Mill

Here are photos of the Hayden Flour Mill, which is the oldest reinforced concrete building in Tempe. The mill opened in July of 1918 and finally closed down in 1998. 02-07

According to the Business Journal of Phoenix, the Hayden Mill site could become home to some sort of restaurant or retail shops. The silo area is also being considered for living space such as condos or a hotel.

Here's a shot of the Chicago Music Store located in downtown Tucson. This store has been around for about 88 years. First opening its doors in 1919, the downtown music shop was once shown in one of Martin Scorsese's early films Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore. 04-07
