Here's an old streamline styled sign sitting near the roofline of the City Dry Cleaners in Delano, CA. It appears that this roadside sign still has its neon tubing intact.
This old sign sits outside of the Merced Laundry in Merced, CA. Plain, yet right to the point. (Below) The Sam Woo Cleaners in Bakersfield is housed in an old building along an old main street. Check out the close-up look of the sign with the image of a cleaning person busy at work with a wash basket. Working so hard that water is splashing out. This sign was probably quite a sight to see back when the neon was still lit. Then again, you can probably make a case like this for many signs that are now just carcasses of what they used to be.
