Here's an old sign for the Modern Pharmacy found in Bakersfield, CA. The paint is peeling, and the sign looks a bit worse for wear, but the sign lives on. UPDATE 04/09 : Although the Modern Pharmacy lives on, the sign did not. The old marquee is now gone. 04-09

Recent work on this San Luis Obispo building on Higuera St. uncovered this old wall ghost signage lettering for Carpenter's Drug Store. 04-09
