The Hotel St. Leo in Stockton features lettering that still advertises the force fan ventilation of the hotel. Not sure what the lettering painted over, though.

This ghost signage looks like its gone through many different variations. From the Hotel Sutter on top to the Carnation lettering that was painted over, this building features lettering that dates back many a decade.
