Here's the neon sign for the former Futurama Bowl that used to grace San Jose. Fortunately, Safeway made adept use of the marquee rather than removing this huge and classic sign.

Here's a nice eerie shot of American Ice Co. in Sacramento. Who knows who lurks beyond that door? Whoooo....

The American Ice Co. is next door to a ice rink that burned down. From the looks of things, the neon on this place was something to behold. Unfortunately, the neon no longer lights up these days.

Not sure what kind of business this is, though the sign for Gino and Carlo lights up the sky in San Francisco.

This Wonder Bread building and its very noticeable neon lettering has been a familiar roadside sight for travelers passing through on the freeway.

The Western Appliance sign still glows in the dark. This marquee also looks pretty good by day. The Western Appliance in San Jose has served the area since 1973.

Traveling out of Santa Clara to San Jose will bring you to this blissful neon sight. The sight of the Western Appliance sign in full neon. It's hard to miss this one.
