Topanga Theatre (Closed)
Woodland Hills, CA Photo by RoadsidePeek.com
(Below) Here's the Topanga Theatre in Woodland Hills showing movies to a crowd looking for a discounted matinee. Unfortunately, time caught up to this theatre in the late 1990's and the theatre closed down. One part of the theatre that was memorable was the marquee with Topanga Theatre spelled out in bright red letters. Another movie house is now just a memory. 04-06

The Garmar Theatre in Montebello, CA was the type of theatre where parents could drop off their kids for a double feature and pick them up later in the evening. The Garmar used to be in a shopping center that also housed an Electric Planet arcade back in the 1980's. The theatre was closed down in the 80's and has since been razed. 08-06
