Route 66The Roarin' 20's used to be a big hangout for the mine workers in Grants back in the day. Now, just the marquee itself stands tall along Route 66 as the place has been closed for quite some time.

Check out this old sign for the Yucca Lounge, in Albuquerque. Unfortunately this sign and the lounge itself were torn down for being a "nuisance" in the neighborhood, according to published reports. 03-05

The Valencia Bar features quite a mid-century sign off the roadside. The sign features the various shapes and lettering of the googie era. 03-05

Route 66Check out this marquee for the Thunderbird Lounge in Tucumcari, NM. The Thunderbird name is quite famous along the Mother Road with motels and in this case a lounge. 03-05
