Here are some photos of an ancient industrial complex located in the town of Moundsville, WV. At first look, it appeared that it could have been a small steel mill seeing as how this area along the Ohio River is a huge steel producer. After much research, it was determined that it's called the Fostoria Glass Company. Many thanks to Richard Weiss for photos and info. 03-08

According to this website for the National Depression Glass Association, The FostoriaGlassCompany began operations in Fostoria, Ohio, but in moved to Moundsville, West Virginia after the supply of natural gas diminished.
The Fostoria plant was operating since the early 20th century until finally shutting down in 1983. Fostoria was a manufacturer of kerosene lamps and lamp part in the early part of the business. After some time, Fostoria became the largest glass manufacturer in the country. Eventually, foreign competition proved too much for Fostoria and the company shut down operations.
