The Motor Vu Drive-in Theatre was a popular stop for outdoor theatre enthusiasts traveling on the 99. This theatre originally opened in 1952. Catching the attention of motorists with its brightly painted marquee and pictures shows illuminating against the stars, the Motor Vu was a Lebanon favorite for for over 50 years. Shown on the marquee, Monsters Inc and The Rookie are typical first-run types of movie that were shown at this open air theatre through its existence. Unfortunately like many other drive-ins, the Motor Vu was closed down in 2003 and demolished in 2004. A Wal-Mart store has occupied this site since 2005. 07-08
(Below) The Blue Fox Drive-in Theatre located at 1403 Monroe Landing Road in Oak Harbor, WA opened up for business in Oak Harbor, WA in 1959. The drive-in was remodeled in 2004 and is currently still open. This drive-in complex features more than just outdoor movies. The complex features the Brattland Go-Karts at a good sized go-cart track, an arcade building, and rides for the kids.
