Route 66Here's the Texas Motel and Restaurant located on the same lot as the Texas Motel above. The Texas Motel was originally known as the Dixie Motel back when it was built probably in the 1960s. The motel was built with 23 units.

The old restaurant sign with its downward pointing boomerang arrow still stands tall over the restaurant building itself. 09-21

 

Route 66The Orlando Motel still stands alongside the Route 66 in Truxton, AZ. The motel sign proudly proclaims the Orland Motel which was built in the 1960s. 09-21

 Route 66Here's an old Motor Court in McLean, TX. Don't remember the name of this old motel found a couple decades ago along old Route 66. 09-21
