This old historic gas station along the old road in McLean, TX has a bit more character and appears to be more historic than the couple above. This gas station was first built in 1926 and featured both a garage and car showroom. 08-21

Taylor's Texaco Station

Located along historic 6th Street in Amarillo, TX is Taylor's Texaco Station. Built in the traditional Texaco gas station design that was originally designed by Walter D. Teauge in 1937, the station features the white porcelain material and canopy. The station still features an office, service bays and rest rooms.

This structure houses what appears to have been an old gas station or convenience store or maybe even both. This photo was taken in the 1990s so don't remember what else was surrounding this place. 08-21

Texaco Gas Station Glenrio, TX Photo by RoadsidePeek.com   Glenrio, TX is home to these oft photographed gas station structures. Based upon the paint colors, it appears this station is a more modern Texaco station.
