UPDATE 08/21 : The 59 Diner abruptly shut its doors in March 2016. The 24 hour diner which had been in business for 29 years surprised its employees and customers alike and word is the business couldn't make it due to the owner's bankruptcy. The diner is known to have served well known public figures and athletes including Beyonce and Michael Strahan. 08-21

Check out the old Brownlee Diner that some know of as the Little Juarez Cafe. The diner opened up back in 1952 and lasted about two decades before shutting down after the opening of the Interstate sealed the fate of both the Brownlee and surrounding businesses. The diner / cafe is listed along with the rest of Glenrio on the National Register of Historic Places. 08-21
