The Townhouse Motel still points the way into some rest
and relaxation in Grants Pass. This Oregon motel looks like it fits in well with the trees in the area.

Check out the Tiki Lodge Motel in Medford. Though the
tiki accents appear to be very lightly applied to the lodge, it's always
great to see tiki themed locations, especially in the Pacific Northwest.
Flamingo
Motel (Demolished)
Grants Pass, OR Photo by RoadsidePeek.com
Check out the Flamingo Inn in Grants Pass. The motel marquee is still interesting to look at. What's
most unique about this motel is the wing like overhang over the rooms,
that look like they're part of a ... uh... Flamingo. The Flamingo was built in 1936 and was originally called the Egyptian Motel.
UPDATE 04/17 : The Flamingo Motel was torn down in January 2016 after 80 years of serving Grants Pass. The motel has been falling apart for a number of years and was most recently used as a low rent apartment complex. Yet another roadside landmark has fallen by the wayside. 04-17
