Here's a shot of the front of the Kwik Way. This drive-in was recently in the news when residents and preservationists were successful in stalling McDonald's from replacing and demolishing the Kwik Way. Here's a shot of one of the old vintage signs for a Giant Burgers.
Another roadside delight serving up hot hamburgers since 1953, Jerry's Beefburgers in San Leandro is still a visual eyecatcher to the passing motorist looking for a bite to eat. (Below) Jim-Denny's is a good roadside stand for hamburgers and chili. This streamline sign outside a boxy structure is a throwback to an earlier era.
