Another roadside delight serving up hot hamburgers since 1953, Jerry's Beefburgers in San Leandro is still a visual eye catcher to the passing motorist looking for a bite to eat.

 

 

 

 

Jim-Denny's Hamburgers

Jim-Denny's is a good roadside stand for hamburgers and chili. This streamline sign outside a boxy structure is a throwback to an earlier era.

Fancy this roadside marquee outside of Pick's Hamburgers. Pick's first opened its doors at this location in 1923. This Cloverdale, CA location features an eye-catching neon type of sign outside of the eatery.

 

 

Joe's Cable Car Restaurant

Here's the sign for Joe's Cable Car Restaurant. Located at 4320 Mission Street in San Francisco, Joe's Cable Car is known for its freshly ground 100% beef chuck burgers that is served by the ounce. In fact, Joe's has been featured on the Food Network's show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives hosted by Guy Fieri. This restaurant has been serving hungry mouths since 1965. 11-09
