How about this sign for the Club Raven, especially as seen all lit up along the boulevard.
The Holiday House features a backlit plastic sign with some odd colored balls above.
Looking for some seafood? Then how about taking a look at Ernie's Sea Food, located amidst the glow of its neon signage and lettering? Ernie's seafood features a neon boat as part of its marquee, located along this main drag near Hayward.
Original Joe's is a restaurant and bar that serves up American and Italian food (I believe). It's in the "Tenderloin" neighborhood, but it has had it's better days. Many thanks to Justin Montano for photos and info

Here are some nice and bright neon lettering on the restaurant front for the Shanghai Restaurant in Auburn.
The Peking Restaurant serves good food in Red Bluff. The memorable part of this place is the changeover in food servers... instant change-O... you'll feel like you are in a time warp.
Here's a night shot of the Kwik Way Drive-in eatery in Oakland. This drive-in can get quite busy during the evening, especially with the Grand Lake Theatre just about next door.
The Flame Club in Sacramento still features a sign that glows throughout the night. Neon signs like these used to be quite prevalent back in the pre-war years.
