Check out this sign for the Lucas B&B Restaurant of Dallas, TX. It's been there forever. The restaurant actually closed in the late 80's and was heavily remodeled into a Pappadeux's Seafood Kitchen. The sign was in not so good shape for awhile, but they restored it,and now it just sort of stands out in front and blinks at passersby. Probably confuses them, too. 01-06

Check out The Big Texan Steak Ranch, located near Route 66 in Amarillo, TX. The Big Texan opened its doors alongside Route 66 back in 1960. When news came of the building of the new interstate, threatening to bypass the business and suck its life out, a new home for The Big Texan was built at a the current location in 1970. 02-07

Here's the sign for the Cattlemen's Steak House, located in the Stockyards of Fort Worth. The big ol' cow on top of the sign appears to be the old moo cow safe in the area. Cattlemen's first opened its doors in 1947 and has been a Fort Worth staple ever since. See more info at the Cattlemen's Steak House website. 02-07
