The Route 66 Diner in Albuquerque, NM is still feeding hungry bellies, even after a potentially devastating fire a few years ago. Now completely restored, the diner bustles again.
This good lookin' diner is unfortunately no longer in business. Not sure if the new commercial development nearby took business away from the Blue Star Diner.
If you're ever listening to Billy Joel and happen to be out in Allentown, PA, check out the Tom Sawyer Diner. Yep, ol' Tom Sawyer himself appears to grace the front of this marquee.
You can find Ford assembly line workers chowing down after their shifts at Brownies Diner in Wayne, Michigan. At the very least, you can't miss the huge arrow on this fine looking sign. (Many thanks to Jay Lin for photo and info) Here's another old roadside diner, this time in the L.A. area. According to the sign, Phil's Diner is used in many a movie and photo shoot.
Here is the Orange Bowl Diner from Columbus, Georgia. Looking for great food at very cheap prices? Then the Orange Bowl is the place. Now if you're hungry, Mel's Diner is the place to go for eats and treats. Open til' very late at night, Mel's is a popular spot for a midnight snack.
