Welcome to the world famous Hole in the Rock. It's a 14-room house that was a roadside stop and diner way back when. They dynamited into the side of this mountain and kept expanding 'til they built themselves a 5,000 sq. ft. home in Utah's Canyonlands area. See more attractions like this at Roadside Peek's Roadside Attractions Rocky Mountains.
The photo on the left depicts the old "Dine-A-Ville" dino that once graced an old roadside motel. This mobile dino was moved all the way to the other end of town to greet visitors. Dinah is a real character, just like others at Roadside Peek's Roadside Characters Rocky Mountains.
Here's a ferocious looking black bear out in Dubois, WY. See the highways giants like this at Roadside Peek's Roadside Giants Rocky Mountains.
This rather skinny muffler art guy stands alongside the road in front of Adrift Adventures. Check other roadside art and fun stuff in the Rocky Mountains area at where else but Roadside Peek's Roadside Art Rocky Mountains.
Here's a roadside Indian outside an old trading post just outside of Moab. At first it looked to be an old wooden Indian but on closer look you could see it's fiberglass/resin! Check out others here at Roadside Peek's Roadside Statues Rocky Mountains.
Jerome, ID is home to this roadside man. See this guy and more at Roadside Peek's Roadside Men Rocky Mountains. 10-06
