The Sugar N' Spice Drive In opened in 1961. Although it did not appear they still serve you at your car, a very funky teal and white car port serves as the parking area for the restaurant.

Open since 1928, The Varsity is a good greasy spoon of a drive-in eatery in the Atlanta, GA area. Located near the Georgia Tech campus, The Varsity and its neon front entrance is a welcome sight to many a hungry belly.

Clarksville, AR

Check out the vintage drive-in eatery. The Diamond Drive-in has been a Clarksville, Arkansas landmark for over 40 years (since 1962). The restaurant itself is also designed in a diamond, which is an interesting touch. This diamond shape was much more prevalent on roadside structures during the 50's and 60's. 10-05

The Parkette Drive-in eatery still features a fancy mid-century marquee out front. The Parkette's sign also appears to be full neon.

The Parkette Drive-in is worth a visit if your passing through Lexington, KY. 10-05

Here is the Beacon Drive-in restaurant in Spartanburg S.C. Check out the old Pepsi logo in the sign. The Beacon is located on U.S. 29, close to downtown. The patio flies all 50 state flags and the foods pretty good as well.

The Beacon has been serving hungry customers since 1946. According to the Beacon Drive-in website, the road its on was renamed to John B. White, Sr. Boulevard in 1999 in honor of the Beacon's original owner. 03-06
