Holiday Bowl (Remodeled)
Crenshaw District, Los Angeles, CA

Although the location is not quite just a coffee shop, the Holiday Bowl does have a real doozy. Well, at least it had. Although this place is now boarded up, it seems like the coffee shop part of this bowling complex will be saved, thanks to the tremendous efforts of the Los Angeles Conservancy's Modern Committee. Hats off to this non-profit organization for perhaps saving another Southern California treasure from oblivion.

While heading out on the I-15 towards Vegas or Route 66, a nice stop to stop for a Big Boy Combo is the Big Boy in Hesperia.

After a brief stint closing down and becoming the Main Street Bar and Grill. Many thanks to Teresa Ramirez and Dave Grant for info.

UPDATE : Bob's is back and open for business! Many thanks to Dave Grant for latest on Bob's Big Boy.
