The Capri Coffee Shop is yet another one of the former Denny's
that took a life of its own. This restaurant, which used to be across
the street from the former Al's Liquor, was demolished a couple of years
ago.

This former site of Van
de Kamp's lost its windmill and turned into a dutch looking restaurant
with a Western theme. Alas, the Western theme didn't appear to work
as the Covered Wagon is now just another vacant building, now
demolished.
Rod's Coffee shop was a local hangout for customers back in the day. This coffee shop, also once located in Montebello, has gone through several iterations in recent years, including a stint as an Armenian restaurant.

Well, while the Arcadia Denny's is still serving customers,
this classic Denny's coffee shop in Agoura Hills met its end in the latter
part of 2002. Check out the orb that graced the marquee. Another roadside
treasure has served its last dish.
