Guero's is a well known tex-mex establishment in Austin. Located along busy South Congress, Guero's is well known for its entertainment and good food. This place has been around for over 30 years which makes it one of the longest establishment businesses in the rapidly changing Austin area. 11-20

The Magnolia Cafe business dates back to 1979 when it opened at its location on Lake Austin Boulevard. The Lake Austin location closed down in April 2020 partially as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Magnolia Cafe South opened its doors on South Congress in 1988 serving up its Tex Mex food. Regardless, it's great to see that neon signage at this location on S. Congress. Hopefully the Magnolia Cafe South will last another 40 years. Romeo's Italian Restaurant (Closed)

Romeo's Italian restaurant has always been a San Antonio favorite for romantic dinners. The neon sign in front is a real eye-catcher as well and the letter, shape, and arrow at the bottom of the sign makes it unique.

Turns out Romeo's closed its doors in February 2012. Yet another Austin eatery treasure is left for only memories. A new restaurant appropriately named Juliet opened at the same location in 2015. 11-20

Check out this neon sign at Rounders Pizzeria in Austin, TX. The New York style pizza here is pretty good especially during a long day of taking roadside photos in Austin during a hot day, The sign itself looks like a copy of the Welcome to Las Vegas sign. Rounders Pizzeria opened in February 2002.

Unfortunately Rounders Pizzeria is closed. A Chinese restaurant called Lin Asian Bar and Dim Sum is now in its place. 11-20
