The Whole Enchilada along Route 66 sports an eye-catching building and is located near the Azusa Pacific University. Word is this restaurant used to be home to a Sambo's Restaurant back in the day. 12-07

 

 

Taco Treat

The Taco Treat marquee appears large when you see it for the first time. The sign lights up in a mix of neon and backlit plastic with customers usually milling around the front waiting for their order to be ready. 12-07

Check out the signage and restaurant at Rod's Grill in Arcadia. This eatery is a throwback to the mid-century and has always appeared busy. Although word is this Arcadia landmark is endangered, Rod's is still serving hordes of hungry customers. 12-07

Here are a couple of shots of the neon at Larry's Chili Dog in Burbank.

The lit up sign is quite a sight. Best of all, the little doggie tail wags. 03-08
