Leon's Steak House (Demolished)

Leon's Steak House has been serving prime rib and cocktails since 1958. Scheduled to close when the lease expires July 31, 2003 to be replaced by a Walgreens.

[ed. note: yes, you heard that right. A Walgreens...!]

 

UPDATE : Leon's was indeed demolished as scheduled.

Check out the marquee for the famous Rainbow Bar in Hollywood, CA. This continues to be a hot spot with many a celebrity stopping by here.

 

 

Shrimp Boat (Demolished)

The Shrimp Boat was located on the east side of Rosemead (Hwy 19) near Duarte road. The sign was removed and the building demolished quite some time ago.
