This roadside delight is called Taco Lita. The font used for the lettering on the sign is a salute back to the mid-century. 12-07
The Taco Treat marquee appears large when you see it for the first time. The sign lights up in a mix of neon and backlit plastic with customers usually milling around the front waiting for their order to be ready. 12-07
The neon still shines at the 100 to 1 Bar in Arcadia, CA. 12-07
Check out the signage and restaurant at Rod's Grill in Arcadia. This eatery is a throwback to the mid-century and has always appeared busy. Although word is this Arcadia landmark is endangered, Rod's is still serving hordes of hungry customers. 12-07
Here are a couple of shots of the neon at Larry's Chili Dog in Burbank. The lit up sign is quite a sight. Best of all, the little doggie tail wags. 03-08
Here's an original Arby's Roast Beef in Pomona, down to the 10 gallon neon hat sign and amazing Conestoga chuckwagon! They used to have a bell inside (maybe this one still has it) that said "If you enjoyed the service, please ring this bell." 03-08
