The sign for A&A has been a landmark since it was installed around 1946. It uses fluorescent tubes in the cabinet portion, incandescent lights run up the base, and a mix of neon and incandescent illuminate the A&A. It stands around 35-40'. It looks wonderful at night - when the lights are working. This sign may be endangered at this point.
The Paradise Trailer Court marquee looks quite old, with the analog clock on top and sign shaped in a triangular arrow.
The Trailer Haven sign is creatively shaped in the form of a trailer. It also somewhat looks like an elephant, though don't know why. Must be late...

Here's an old sign for the Paso Robles Electric. This sign still looks like it lights up at night.
Not sure what's come of this old sign, but the Villa Trailer Park used to be a real eye-catcher.
Philipp's Bakery in Sacramento features an old sign that still does its job of advertising the business.
Armstrong is "the modern fashion in floors" in the San Francisco area. At least that's what this old time plastic sign from Linoleum L states.
This Shoe Repair sign is all but a sign from the old Main Street America days.
