This windmill is not a Van de Kamp's but a Jessen's. Windmill themed signage were more widespread back in the 70's.
This is a nice watch sign in Stockton. Not sure if the clock still keeps good running time though.

The Johnson's Sewing Center still features one of the old signs out front. This look is reminiscent of the era before the megastores and service centers.
Here's an old sign for Dahl's Shoe Repair. This business located in Stockton not only features an old sign but is located in an old district that appears to be a throwback. So, stop by Dahl's and see if you can get a shine and dye.
Here's another old sign for Bubble's Bottle. Not sure what kind of place this is, but at the least the sign attempts to look vintage.
Al's Glass in Sacramento advertises just that... glass.
This fading sign uses music notes to depict the business it advertises.
This Quick Lunch sign in Sacramento still appears to have working neon on it.
This marquee for Mac's Sporting Goods right off of Highway 395 in Bishop still points the way in.
Here's another fish sign, this one for Ken's Sporting Goods in Bridgeport, CA. Bridgeport is another one of the towns sitting right alongside Hwy 395.
