The real drugstores used to be the mom and pop version of Rite-Aid and Walgreens, and Vista Drug is no exception.

McCarty's Jewelry

Check out the neon marquee for McCarty's Jewelry, with a bit of a diamond head on top. McCarty's was established back in 1932 and has been at its present building location since 1958. See the McCarty's website for more information and history.





Artesia Bakery (Closed)

This neon sign for the Artesia Bakery features an interesting character on its marquee. Not sure what the neon lit guy on the sign is doing. perhaps smoking something while waiting for his pastry?


UPDATE 09/15 : The Artesia Bakery closed down sometime in early 2010. The neon sign was removed and garment store is now in its place. 09-15

Here's a real colorful neon sign for a place called Vidiots. The neon on this really stand out in a dark night.




Chevrolet Trucks

Looking to buy a new truck, but just have to get it from a dealership with a good neon sign out front? Well, Chevrolet Trucks is the place.


UPDATE 09/17 : It appears that this sign is surviving and still up and located at this Chevy location. 09-17
