Here's the Dari-Castle hamburger joint. This Gary, IN institution features a roadside marquee that has become faded over the years. Unfortunately, this Dari-Castle is now closed to roadside business.

Welcome to Chuck A Burger (Yes, with a capital 'A'!) of St. Louis, Missouri. The sign says its been here at the "cruisin' capitol of the Midwest" since 1957.



Holland's Burgers (Demolished)

Sadly, Holland's Hamburgers was recently torn down from its location on West Roosevelt Road in Chicago. The sign stood for many years on an empty lot but almost certainly made it to the scrap yard before it could be saved. This sign still advertises 15 cent hamburgers!

Traveling through Indianapolis and hungry for a quick bite? Well, how about this sign that says 15 cent hamburgers? The only problem is, there is no building to go with it.
